Sabrina Schenk

I am a PhD student at the Institute of Nutrition and Food Sciences, working in the Department of Nutrition and Microbiota.

My research focuses on the metabolisation of human milk oligosaccharides (HMOs) and the influence of the gut microbiome on the systemic availability of HMOs.

Currently, we are conducting an intervention study to investigate the effects of HMOs on the human metabolism.
